Since 1998, when Helen Lewis retired, the company has been led by Bill Smullen, Brigitte Norcross and Chris Amos. Tina Pritchard is our designer.
Over the years we've built up a pool of actors that we call on when we need them. Dawn Walsh, Mickey Stratfull and Bill have featured in recent productions.
Bill had three years classical training at the Webber Douglas Academy of
Dramatic Art (1983-86) and has worked in theatre, radio, film etc.
He has been with Arena for 20 years now and played many characters
in well over a thousand performances.
Chris trained
at Bretton Hall, where he took a degree course in drama. He has been with
Arena for 12 years.
He is also a playwright whose work has been performed on the fringe in London and at the Edinburgh Festival.
Brigitte studied Drama and English at Goldsmith's College, London University and is also a qualified teacher. She's been with Arena for 14 years.
